Apr 6th, 2020

John S. Adams is Professor Emeritus of Geography, Planning & Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota. His professional work focused on the American city, regional economic development, migration, housing markets, urban transportation, and urban development in the United Sates and the former Soviet Union. Following retirement from teaching in 2007, he was interim associate dean at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs. He was president of the University of Minnesota Retirees Association, 2013-14.

Professor Adams joins us to discuss higher education in America today and how it faces an increasingly skeptical public. In his talk, he'll explore several sources of some of the challenges.
